ACE
ACE is the U.S. trade processing system which consolidates and automates border processing. It improves communication, collaboration and compliance processes.

Lakeside Logistics can be your link to the ACE eManifest
Call us to arrange for a user ID based on your SCAC code. Once you have been set up you have two choices:

•  Use the portal on our web site or
•  Fax your paper manifest with the PAPS sticker on it

FAST
The FAST program is a joint Canada–United States initiative. It supports moving pre-approved eligible goods across the border quickly and verifying trade compliance prior to arrival at the border.

With pre-approval, you will be cleared into either country with greater speed and certainty, and at a reduced cost of compliance.

With a little instruction, you too can be a FAST approved carrier

To pull FAST freight your driver must also be approved. He/she must go through a separate screening process. Here is the link to the United States Driver FAST Application.

CSA
CSA is exactly the same process as FAST but applies to northbound shipments through Canadian Customs. Both US and Canada Customs bodies work interactively. The web site to verify a carrier's CSA status is http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/prog/csa-pad/car-trans-eng.html

Acquiring Authorities
