Lakeside salutes SmartWay Carriers

Lakeside applauds the following carriers for joining the SmartWay Transport Partnership.  An integral part of the Vision Green program, Lakeside joined the partnership in the Logistics category in September 2007 with a 3 year goal of doubling miles hauled by SmartWay carriers. Working together, SmartWay partners can incorporate various strategies and technologies to decrease greenhouse gas emissions, fuel consumption and criteria pollutants (NOx and PM).  SmartWay carriers have a high profile within the Lakeside organization and are recognized for their efforts to reduce the environmental impact of their fleet operations.
